The EEC residential market is showing signs of recovery after a period of contraction, with the improvement concentrated in Chon Buri.
The residential market in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is showing signs of recovery after a period of contraction, according to the Real Estate Information Center (REIC).
The recovery is not broad-based. Chon Buri shows the clearest improvement and remains the main growth driver, particularly for condominiums. REIC said tourism and foreign demand have supported the province's condominium market.
The report said developers need to select locations, housing types, prices and investment timing carefully. It also noted that low-rise housing requires greater caution in some locations.
Elsewhere in the EEC, market conditions vary by location. Rayong faces mixed demand, while Chachoengsao has recorded gains in parts of its residential market.
